Hotel management company Rotana currently manages a portfolio of over 100 properties throughout the Middle East, Africa and Turkey as part of its expansion plan to operate 100 hotels by 2020 across its brands – Rotana Hotels & Resorts, Centro Hotels, Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts, Arjaan Hotel Apartments and The Residences by Rotana.

The company has announced a pipeline of 14 new properties set to open by the end of 2018, with its hotels in Abu Dhabi and Dubai seeing an increase in room nights from inbound UK guests alone up nearly 7% and 4.6% respectively.

There are plans now for six hotels in the UAE, three in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, two in Turkey and one each for Iran, Iraq and Tanzania by the end of 2018, with a pipeline of 48 properties beyond that.

Of the more than 3,250 rooms, suites, apartments and villas planned for next year, Al Bandar Arjaan in Dubai will feature 90 fully-furnished serviced apartments, Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi will add 326 studios and apartments to its existing complex, and WestSide Arjaan Istanbul will offer 153 fully-furnished hotel apartments.
