Airbnb reported this week that its 1,200 hosts in Park City, Utah, hosted 36,000 guests, totalling around $15 million, during the ski season that began in November 2016 and ended in April – almost 80% more than last year – and earned an average of $10,000 over the past year.

Airbnb is working to accommodate the new, shared-economy model for accommodating Utah guests and visitors, with taxes required by the State taken automatically during the booking process.
