Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement to manage three properties in Thailand later this year and next.
This raises their total number of hotels and residences in Thailand to seven, and debuts their serviced apartment brand, Mövenpick Residences. The first, Mövenpick Residences Ekkamai, Bangkok, will consist of 160 one-, two- and three-bedroomed apartments with restaurant, lounge and rooftop lounge and bar, meeting space, swimming pool and fitness centre. Others will follow in Phuket and Khao Yai.
The Swiss hotel management company aims to manage over 30 hotels in Asia by 2020.
