Around 6.6 million Brits are planning an overnight holiday trip in the UK this Easter weekend, according to VisitEngland’s latest Easter Trip Tracker survey, bringing an estimated £1.7 billion boost to the British economy and increased from six million last Easter weekend.

In 2015 the figure was five million.

The survey also found that 7.6 million Brits are undecided about an overnight Easter trip, with reasons including waiting to see what the weather will do, financial concerns, indecision about where to go, waiting for special deals or preferring to book last minute.
