AccorHotels has launched Jo&Joe, an innovative hostel brand offering rooms from EUR25 per night.
Each will average 350-500 beds with shared space, yurts, hammocks and caravans, private rooms and apartments for two to five people. They will also include a ‘Happy House’, a private area where guests can relax, work, cook or wash their clothes. They will also offer bar and restaurants across grill, open flame barbecue, wok or wood fire pizzas.
The group plans to have 50 properties open under the brand by 2020, targeting lively city centres and places where millennials mingle, but with a focus on both long-distance trippers and locals, and beginning with Paris and Bordeaux by the end of 2018.
