The six host cities of the upcoming Six Nations rugby championship have seen average hotel prices increase by up to 345%, led by Cardiff, which will be hosting the most expensive match of the tournament. A normal average price of £108 rises to £481.

Prices in Edinburgh will be up 154%, but in Rome they stay flat compared with the average for the month. In contrast, London prices are down 10% on 26 February when England play Italy, to £156.
