Half of the 4,500+ business travellers from the US, Canada, Australia, Norway, France, Germany, Singapore, Sweden and the UK polled for the annual Egencia Business Travel and Technology Survey said that unless they have a problem that can be fixed, they like to avoid human interaction when away.

Technology remains hugely valuable to global business travellers and they want instant access to information and tools on every device, not just on mobile phones. 48% of those polled would like to be able to update their business travel itinerary using text messages, and 43% believe artificial intelligence advances will improve their travel experience.
