Digital travel sales in the Asia-Pacific region are forecast to rise by almost 20% in 2015, and this growth is likely to continue, set to become the largest digital travel sales market in the world in 2018.

Despite a downturn in the Chinese economy, this predicted rise is due largely to the sheer volume of China’s population, a rising middle class there who enjoy traveling and find it more affordable, and with the increase in mobile booking.

India and the major developing countries in Southeast Asia are also forecast to see similar trends.
