A new report from the GBTA Foundation in partnership with HRS has found that four in five business travellers’ company travel policy has the greatest impact on their business travel decisions, just ahead of convenience (71%) and cost (70%).

Other factors include ease of changing or cancelling plans, while easy expense reporting and loyalty rewards programmes also matter.

The report focused on communication around business travel policies and advantages, and shows up differences across age demographics and regions in how travellers want to and do receive information – remotely or in person.
