According to the latest Colliers International UK Hotels Market Index, Chester is the number one hot spot in the UK for hotel development due to its good occupancy levels, an upward RevPAR trend and low active pipeline.

York ranked second and Oxford third, while other good performers include Cambridge, Belfast, Nottingham and Swindon. London continues to be the largest market, although it has fallen out of the top 10.
