An ITM study has found that 70% of travel buyers feel the Brexit result will affect the cost of flying and 63% predict it will hit the cost of hotels. However, 90% are not planning to change anything as a result of the EU referendum with 54% expecting growth this year and 48% expecting an increase in travel.

Buyers’ top priorities this year will be traveller security, cost reduction and budget control. They will be challenged to manage cost increases from suppliers, but also rein in travel spend in 2017.
