With the ongoing rise in ‘Bleisure’ trips, the Unpacking Bleisure Traveler Trends survey of more than 2,500 business travellers shows that the workers most likely to combine business and leisure are from the technology/IT, manufacturing and finance sectors, with 24%, 13% and 12% respectively saying they’d added leisure days to a business trip over the last year. These were especially common in those from the UK, India, China and Germany.

Of those polled, only 33% moved out of the business destination to complete the leisure element of their trip, and the factors playing the biggest part in decision-making were the cost of hotels (32%), cheap airfares (19%) and dining options (16%).
