The Q1 2017 Hotel Bulletin published by HVS, AlixPartners AM:PM and STR reveals that budget hotels account for nearly two-thirds of the UK’s top 10 hotel brands, supplying 64% of rooms in the country over that period.

Premier Inn and Travelodge made up 52% of branded rooms in the top 10, and were the two fastest developing brands, while the Marriott- and Hilton-owned hotels in the same list were also at the lower end of the price scale.
