According to new research by accountancy firm Moore Stephens, the number of UK hotel insolvencies has dropped by 18% and fewer than 1% of hotels in the country are at risk due to a post-Brexit boost in tourism around the weak pound and rise in staycations.

However Brexit has led to uncertainty in the sector around staffing, with 24% of the industry’s current workforce made up of EU workers.
