Ascott has launched a “living lab” in Singapore called lyf@SMU to test co-living spaces intended for its millennial brand, Lyf, which launched in November, which will help shape the serviced residence brand’s upcoming products.

From the more than 1,200 millennials expected to visit lyf@SMU daily, the project will identify user preferences and space usage which will be translated into actions. The 32,000 square feet of space will open on February 27, and will feature co-working lounges with modular furniture, communal tables, interactive voting boards, multimedia rooms and napping pods.
