ASAP will be holding their first event of the new membership year in London on September 6 from 14:30 to 20:30 hrs.  The event, which consists of the annual business meeting will be followed by an informal networking evening with the announcement of the shortlisted finalists for the 2017 ASAP Serviced Apartment Industry Awards.

The event provides an important face-to-face opportunity for members to be updated on the associations achievements and growth over the past year and a look forward to the objectives for the year ahead.  The event, being held at Grange Tower Bridge, will also host guest speakers Michael Pekny from STR and Kurt Janson from the Tourism Alliance.

Michael will be raising awareness of the importance data submission for the serviced apartment sector along with a UK performance update, this will be ahead of the Global performance update which will be taking place at the ASAP Convention in December.

Kurt will be talking about EU Nationals after Brexit, Package Travel directive and how we can use the Tourism Alliance as part of our affiliation.

James Foice, CEO for the ASAP comments “I am very much looking forward to the annual ASAP members meeting and networking event at Grange in London. It is the opportunity for us to share details and information on the excellent work we have been doing over the last year. It gives us the opportunity to work with our members gaining valuable feedback and further allows us to prioritise our efforts to raise awareness of the sector. I would like to extend my personal thanks to everyone at Grange who are so generously sponsoring the event.”

Michael Sheppard, Head of City Sales for Grange Hotels comments “Grange Hotels are proud to be hosting the ASAP meeting & networking event.  As London’s leading independent hotel group, we are excited to be venturing into the Serviced Apartment sector and look forward to our continued partnership with the ASAP.”
