ASAP joins UKinbound and the Tourism Alliance in welcoming the Chancellor’s Spending Review and Autumn Statement in which the Chancellor announced £40m extra funding for tourism and economic growth, which it is hoped could boost industry revenue by over £600m and create almost 4,000 new jobs.

Bernard Donoghue, Tourism Alliance’s chairman, called the Review “extremely pro-tourism”, and “a pat on the back” for the 3.1 million people working in the sector.
