Following a vote by the ASAP membership John Wagner, Director/Owner of Cycas Hospitality and Philippe Aenishaenslin, Managing Director of Nest Temporary in Switzerland have been elected to the ASAP Steering Committee with effect from 1 September 2017.

James Foice, ASAP CEO comments:

It’s fantastic to be able to welcome John and Philippe to our Steering Committee.

‘Now that ASAP has grown very significantly and our membership spans some 17 countries, it will be tremendous to have the expertise of both John and Philippe who will bring a wider international perspective to our Steering Committee.

‘John has over 30 years of extensive experience in the extended stay sector both in the USA as well as in the UK and Europe and Philippe will be our first overseas operator on the Steering Committee, who, having built up his own very successful serviced apartment operator and agency business based in Switzerland since 2005, has a wealth of experience to offer our Association.’

Speaking of their appointments, John Wagner comments:,

As our industry grows and is increasingly recognized as a significant subset of the hospitality industry, the voice and the specialized interests of serviced apartments operators should be heard….ASAP is the voice for all of us, and I look forward to making a contribution to making sure our opinions are given the full weight they are due.”

Philippe Aenishaenslin comments:

Surprise, surprise!  After needing a moment to understand, that my application to join the Steering Committee was successful, the fundamental direction and depth of my responsibility became visible. The ASAP’s pre-dominant UK members have endorsed the transformation to become a European trade body! I’m delighted, honoured and excited to take on this role for the benefit of us all. Thank you for your trust.”

John and Phillippe will join the 9-strong ASAP Steering Committee for a 2 year period.
