With just 6 weeks to go until the deadline for submissions for the 2017 ASAP Awards (Monday 14th August), it’s time to concentrate on making those entries stand out. Once your team starts disappearing on leave or you get busier with your own bookings, it’ll get harder to check everything with everybody. Best to make a start now and circulate the information in plenty of time.

The Awards are open to companies large and small, regardless of geographical location, open to both members and non-members, as long as they are in the serviced apartment, aparthotel, extended stay and short-term accommodation rental industry.

This week we’re focusing on another top tip: do not assume anything!

Make it easy for the judges to understand why they should select you, by ensuring that your entry is explained clearly in concise detail, written as if the judge is completely new to your business.

The judging panel will all have relevant experience but they may not be aware of your individual company, sector or operation.  Therefore ensure that your entry explains any relevant detail to enable clarity and understanding.

Make your entry clear and readily-understood to give it the best chance of success!

And don’t forget, getting your entry in early saves a last-minute panic and possibly missing important information. And take time as well to make sure you have included any supporting documentation.

Remember, there is no entry fee made to enter the awards. You have nothing to lose, and much to gain!
